Between Saint Malo and La Rochelle, Brittany will seduce you with its authenticity, its charming little ports and exceptional natural sites! Charter a monohull, sail with friends or family, for a week end, a week or more… From Saint Malo the pirate town well-known for its legendary single-handed transatlantic race « Route du Rhum », you will sail to Chausey, an island where cars are absent! A little further, take a taste of England and head to Jersey. Tour the island by bus: the Durrell Foundation protecting endangered , botanical gardens, WW II museum… In Saint Hélier marina, enjoy a Fish and Chips and spend the evening in the famous pub Chambers !!! A few miles away, stop in Guernsey where you can visit Victor Hugo’ house. Other itinerary in North Brittany: sail to the beautiful Bay of Paimpol, a little harbor where many musical events are organized, such as the Sea Shanty Festival. Then route to Lézardrieux, Bréhat, Tréguier, Saint Quay Portrieux.
In South Brittany, sail the Atlantic. Near Crouesty, discover several small islands, Belle Ile and an incredible natural site of dunes and protected environments…Houat is at 9 miles, Hoedic at 11 miles, Groix at 30 miles. You may choose also to go to Lorient, the Glénan, Trinité, La Rochelle. Wherever you will be, you surely will try the wonderful traditional galettes, cider and kouign aman!
