Mooring at the Anses d’Arlet

Martinique is a French overseas department with direct flights from Paris, USA and Canada. Le Marin marina is the starting point for cruises towards the Winward Islands. After a few hours of sailing, stopover in Saint Lucia and then sail further south to Saint Vincent and The Grenadines. This is the perfect destination for charterers: the Tobago Cays, a protected natural reserve, coral reefs, desert islets, small white sand beaches. Further south, visit Grenada the Spice Island. Other possible itineraries from Le Marin… If you choose to sail towards the Leeward Islands, you will stop along the lovely Caribbean coast of Martinique, with traditional villages such as Sainte Anne or Anses d’Arlets and a large choice of activities: scuba diving, swimming, snorkeling, great shopping in Trois Ilets marina or in Fort de France, golfing, restaurants, casino…Anchor in the bay of Saint Pierre, at the feet of the volcano before sailing north to Dominica and Guadeloupe. Visit the remains of the last volcano eruption in 1902, hiking tracks in the tropical forest…
